UK National Indoor U20/U17/U15 Championships
The UK National Indoor Championships are taking place over the weekend of 25th/26th February at the NIA Birmingham.
I am happy to report that the clubs Pole vaulters are being joined this year by two very talented young ladies. Ella James and Millie Cable who will be competing in their first National level competition. Ella competes in the U17W High Jump at 10.15 on Sunday, she faces a huge field in High Jump terms with 22 women entered, Millie competes in the U15G 200m heats at 10.30 on Sunday.
Livvy Connor and Vicky Warren will also be competing Sunday morning at 10.30 in the U15G Pole Vault again a huge field for a jumping event with 18 girls entered. Both girls will be trying to improve on last years positions 4th & 7th.
Emilie Blackwell moves into the first year of the U20 age group, with women as much as three years her senior it will be tough to match the 4th place she achieved in last years U17W vault. Emilies competition is on Saturday at 15.30.
