Sussex Road Relay team results
With such great results for Lewes AC runners with the Easter 10K and Easter 2 mile races there was also some great results at the Sussex Road Relay Championship on Easter Saturday.
Best of the bunch must be the under 13 boy’s team winning the Silver Medal just behind the Phoenix club in a time of 18mins 40secs for the three lap 6.5mile course. Aidan Briffett’s time of 5.59 was also the 2nd fastest lap of day and Sam Rogers with 6.11 was the third fastest lap of the day. Neilsen Reaveley in a time of 6.30 made up the silver medal winning team.
There was also a tremendous result for the club’s senior men’s team who despite lacking some star performers came a very creditable fourth position behind the Phoenix and Brighton clubs. Making up the team and their laps times were Matt Bradford (10.31) Josh Burgess (10.17) Dave Bradford (10.45) Tom Kearns (11.14) Tim Calliafas (11.33) Matt Suter (11.21)
