Portslade 5 mile
Whilst there was much action at the County Championships at K2 on Sunday 13th May there was also much action at the Portslade 5 mile race over the South Downs.
There were 21 runners from Lewes AC with Pablo Ibarguren adding to his win at the Barcombe 10K with a fine 3rd place in this tough Downland run with a time of 32mins 41secs.
The top ten finishers from the Lewes runners were Chris Hunt 12th 34.14: Colin Bennett 15th 34.58: Dan Ling 17th 35.05: Mauro Lazzati 19th 35.27: Lewis Sida 22nd 35.32: Mathew Homewood 26th 35.59: Jack Hodgson 34th 36.38: Ed Wheeler 37th 37.14: Dominic Osman-Allu 37.22. The first two scoring Lewes AC women in the race were Carole Waters 110th 42.18: Paula Taylor 112th 42.27:
