On a blazing hot Saturday on the 4th June 2011 the Lewes AC A team took the bronze medal in the 100 mile South Downs Relay. Their time was a very creditable 11 hours 11 minutes. Sam Brown cleared 4.21m to set a new club senior record and Claudette Povey set a new club women’s record with a pb 2.50m. Emilie Blackwell cleared a new pb of 3.35m to set a new U17W record.
