On Saturday Lewes AC runners took part in the Sussex Primary Schools Cross Country Championships on Bexhill Downs and produced two excellent performances. Ben Walters came 5th in the boys’ race and Danielle Jacobs 18th in the girls race.

A much higher turnout of the Red and Yellow Lewes vests than in previous years. 15 athletes returned to Sussex from Sutton with 14 medals and no fewer than 10 club Indoor records.
