Held at Broadbridge Heath on Thursday 20th February the 3rd in the Horsham indoor series of 50m & 50m hurdle races. Lewes results; Ciaran Harvey V40M 6.6 Club record Ollie Smith U17M 6.7 pb Sam Chard U15B 7.6 pb Anna Perrett U15G 7.7 pb Lara Furmidge U15G 7.2 pn and = Club record.

With a field of 7,600 runners in the Brighton Half Marathon there were some great performances by Lewes AC members. With 30 club members taking part 18 finished in the top 10% of the race. This in itself was a great performance and when individual performances are thrown into the pot a truly great day for the club to match the unexpected and sunny weather…

On Sunday 23rd February 2014 there will be the opportunity for those who might be interested in race walking to have a go. Peter Selby an experienced Race Walking coach and judge will be at the Lewes Track between 10.00am and 11.30am to take the session. Potential novices, juniors, seniors and veterans are all welcome to take part.
