Scott Staples won the U20 Javelin with new championship record. Jack Harris wins U17 Pole Vault. Gemma Tutton wins U13 Minithon by a massive 16 points and equals the Lewes club record.

Anouska Fairhurst has her first outing as an U15 Javelin thrower. Her throw of 39.40m at Gillingham in the YDL league destroyed the Lewes U15 girls record adding 10.56m to the previous mark. She goes straight to the top of the UK rankings and is just 95cm away from the Sussex record.

Up against 220 club teams from across Sussex clubs there were some great results and some near misses for Lewes AC runners. The Lewes AC women’s team won the Sussex Athletics cross country league. Held over four tough and testing courses at Goodwood, Lancing Manor, Stanmer Park and Hickstead Show Ground the team were convincing winners.
