London U17/U15 Indoor Games, 4 February 2012
Four Lewes athletes made the trip to Lee Valley to compete in the U17/U15 London Games.
Jack Harris U13B competed in the U15B pole Vault competition clearing 1.95m for 6th place in his pool.
Ella James U17W cleared 1.55m in the High Jump also for 6th place.
Millie Cable U15G improved her club Indoor 200m record to 28.23 to finish 5th in a very high quality field.
Livvy Connor U15G added 15cm to her indoor club Pole Vault record. Again a very high quality field with the top three athletes in the UK rankings competing. The clearance of 3.25m gave her a share of first place. The height moving her to 9th on the UK all time U15 lists. The level of her achievement can be judged in that the vault beat the club U15 boys indoor record by 75cm and we have had some very good male vaulters in recent years !
