Lewes end of season Pole Vault open
Sunday 19th September @ Lewes track.
The 16 vaulters from around the South East region who entered the Lewes end of season vault were blessed with glorious sunshine and many p.b.s.
The results of the Lewes based athletes that competed are as follows, all achieved p.b.s.
Hannah Macdonald U15G 2.23m
Remi Macdonald U17M 2.83m
James Shackleton U15B 2.46m
Vicky Warren U13G 2.23m
Holly Turner U15G 2.93m (Brighton)
Olivia Conner U13G 2.83m
Naomi Lee U15G 3.16m
Bryce Williams-Watson U15B 2.96m
Olivia Conner 2.83m is a new Sussex record and takes her back to the top of the UK U13 rankings and also moves her to second on the UK all time list.
Naomi Lee 3.16m is also a new Sussex U15 record and moves her to 13th on the UK all time list. She remains at the top of this years UK U15 rankings.

The level of the vaulting was only surpassed by the level of days refreshments!
