Golden Hat-trick for Lewes Pole Vaulters.
Three gold medals and one Silver for the Lewes pole vaulters during the Sussex indoor championships held on 6th/7th March at the Sutton arena.
Sam Brown took the U20M gold with 4.20m and had three very close shots at 4.36m.
Emilie Blackwell took the U17W gold with p.b. 3.20m a height which moves her to 3rd in the UK rankings and to 40th position on the UK U17 all time list.
Naomi Lee collected the U15G gold with a p.b. height of 3m with three very good attempts at the Sussex record (3.11m).
Livvy Conner won the U15G silver medal with p.b. 2.60m a height which moves her to number three in the UK U13G all time rankings and to number one on the UK all time indoor rankings.
Livvy also picked up a gold medal in the U13G long jump and another gold with a p.b (8.51), club record and championship record in the U13G 60m.
Mention must also go to Vicky Warren who also like Livvy competed up an age group and with no training so to speak since September managed 5th place in the U15 competition.
