Welcome to Lewes Athletic Club
Success Through Enjoyment

Congratulations to All Who Took Part in the 2024 Lewes Downland 5 and 10-Mile Races!

LAC success in the Lewes Downland 5 mile race

A huge congratulations to all Lewes Athletic Club members who joined us to celebrate our Club’s 40th anniversary at a fantastic party and then hit the ground running the next morning for the Lewes Downland 5 and 10-Mile Races!

Also, to all the running clubs and members of the public who took part in this annual scenic trail run and Sussex Grand Prix fixture starting at Landport Bottom Meadow to the north of the historic town of Lewes, and taking in picturesque trails around Black Cap on the South Downs. We hope you enjoyed the event!

A special shout-out goes to our very own Euan Baker, who clinched first place in the 5-mile race with an impressive two-minute lead. Well done, Euan!

In the ladies’ 5-mile race, Rhian Davies claimed the top spot, with Emily Hague and Beth Hancock close behind, finishing second and third, respectively. Fantastic work, ladies!

The Downland 10-mile race brought more success for Lewes Athletics Club, with our men’s team finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Congratulations to George Stewart, Toby Meanwell, Ben Pepler, and Tom Marchant for an incredible team victory!

You can find the full list of the 5 mile race results here.

And the 10 mile race results here.
