A bronze medal and club record for Livvy Connor.
Competing for Sussex in the Inter County match at Bedford on Sunday 2nd August Livvy Connor came away with some stunning results. It was a first division inter-county match with teams competing from as far away as Yorkshire, Essex, Hampshire, Warwickshire and all points west.
Never phased by the competition Livvy won a bronze medal in the pole vault with a vault of 3.90m. This not only won the bronze medal but also gave Livvy a new club record. It also gave Livvy a bronze medal in the historic AAA senior competition recently reintroduced by England Athletics.
In a closely fought competition Livvy was only beaten by Jade Ive from Surrey who vaulted 4.19m for the gold medal and Abigail Roberts from Yorkshire who vaulted 4.00m for the silver medal.
