LEWES ATHLETIC CLUB SUMMER CAMPS
Two Summer Camps were held in 2024 for young people in Years 3 – 6. The first a 4 day camp was at the end of July and the second a 3 day camp at the end of August.
July Summer Camp: This was over 4 days from Mon 29th July – 1st August.
August Summer Camp: This was a 3 day camp from Mon 19th – Wed 21st August.
At each camp there was an opportunity to Run, Jump and Throw. Each event was coached by the club’s qualified athletics coaches with the opportunity to, partake in activities such as discus, long jump, pole vault, sprinting and many more.
Camp t-shirts were included for everyone.
Activities took place from 10.00am to 3.00pm each day and took place at the Lewes Athletic Track, Mountfield Road, Lewes, BN7 2XG
Costs:
For the July Summer Camp the cost was £80 in total
The August Summer Camp cost £60 in total
The club intends to again run summer camps in 2025. There are also plans to run a camp at Easter along the same lines as the Summer camps held in 2024
