Lewes Athletic Club (LAC) invites all new and seasoned members to join us in participating in five fantastic running leagues. Whether you’re just starting, seeking friendly competition, or aiming to push your limits, there’s a place for you in these leagues.
West Sussex Fun Run League (WSFRL)
An excellent starting point for new runners and parkrun graduates.
Experience racing in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No need to be the fastest—the club earns points for the number of participants! It’s a great way to dip your toes into racing and see if it’s for you.

East Sussex Cross Country League (ESSCL)
For intermediate runners looking to improve
This league combines a friendly atmosphere with a good level of competition. Whether you’re an intermediate runner seeking to improve or someone looking to help LAC chase victory, the ESSCL is an excellent choice.

Sussex Cross Country League (SCCL)
Challenge yourself in this competitive league.
We encourage our faster runners to step up for the SCCL, but it also provides opportunities for intermediate runners to gain experience in a highly competitive environment. LAC aims to perform strongly in this league, so every participant counts!

Sussex Grand Prix
Comprises 12 events and an individual and team competition. To win an individual or team prize, runners must consistently perform well over a series of races. It’s a test of endurance and skill, and the rewards are worth it.

Sussex Masters League (Sussex Veterans League)
Is a County track and field competition for Sussex club teams. Open to men and women aged 35+, events are organized for 35+, 50+, and 60+ age groups.
