Lewes AC at the Tilgate Forest 5 miles race
Fourteen Lewes AC runners turned out for the Tilgate Forest five run on Sunday 5th July and turned in some good performances. Pride of place must go to Pablo Ibarguren who came 4th overall in a time of 29.00mins. A special mention must also go to Bev Sheridan who coming back from injury secured 180th position in a race of over 130 runners with a time of 44mins 30secs. Bev is moving up the placings and will soon be challenging those Lewes AC runners just ahead of her in the rankings.
Other good performances in the top 50 were Mauro Lazzati in 11th position in 30mins 16secs: Mat Homewood 24th in 31mins 44secs: Simon Roberts 35th in 32mins 59secs: and Tim Monson 48th in 33mins 44secs. Other Lewes AC runners turning out for the club included Mick Acott (35.20) David Foster (35.51), Bob Hughes (36.42), John Coleman (37.31), Clare Anstee (39.38), Andrea Ingram (40.54) and Dave Feintuck (42.07).
