Aidan Briffett ran a great 3k race coming fourth of the under-13 boys in 10:48. As a result of this and other performances Aidan has now been selected for a place in the Sussex team at the National Inter-Counties cross country competition in March.
Aidan was joined in the race by Jasper Baker who showed lots of promise in his first race, coming in 21st at 12:04.
The under 15-boys also ran well coming in seventh team over 4.5km and this saw Patrick Mcmanus in 14th (15:17), Connor Sullivan 19th (16:18) and Tom Brightwell 30th (18:44).

Two teams are promoted every year and last year the womens team were pipped at the post for promotion. There is every possibility for of promotion for both the mens and womens teams if they can get a good turn-out at the final race. For the first time there is also a vets womens team category this year and Lewes are in 7th position (out of 26) after the first three races.
