UK U17/U15 Champs
Held at Bedford on Saturday 8th August 2009.
Just two Lewes athletes achieved the required standard.
Emilie Blackwell cleared 3m to take fourth place in U15g Pole Vault and Naomi Lee cleared p.b. 2.70m to take 5th place and move to to 7th on UK rankings it would have been even better as her third attempt at 2.80m was a huge clearance only to see the pole hit the bar!
Both athletes attended these champs with injuries and showed great guts to even compete well done.
